Beneath the Brahmani’s flow, did fall,
Near Chandpur, under skies so gray,
The river’s current took him away,
On Wednesday, in Rasulpur's call.
In Brahmabarada College, he learned,
A student of promise, his future earned,
Yet while bathing in the river wide,
His footing slipped, he couldn't bide,
The water's force, where he turned.
News reached quick, hearts in fear,
The ODRAF team soon drew near,
To the river’s edge, they swiftly came,
With hope and prayers in his name,
Their search began, full of care.
They combed the waters, far and wide,
As currents whispered, where do you hide?
Through every wave and hidden nook,
They sought the boy with every look,
But the river held him deep inside.
By last report, their search went on,
Yet Jalal was still gone with the dawn,
A young life lost in Brahmani’s sway,
In hearts and minds, he'll forever stay,
As the river silently carries on.
