On Sunday evening, June 9, a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district resulted in the deaths of at least nine people and injuries to 41 others. The assailants targeted a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh, which subsequently plunged into a gorge. Among the deceased were seven pilgrims—three men, three women, and a two-year-old boy—along with two local residents. The bus was en route from the Shiv Khori temple to Katra when the attack occurred.
